Time Medical Exhibited in 2024 ISMRM
/10 May 2024 NEWS - Time Medical exhibited in the renowned International Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine (ISMRM) Congress held at the Singapore Convention Centre on May 6th - 9th 2024. The annual conference attracted over 5,000 professionals in the field of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), with participation from more than 300 companies. The Company showcased its world-first superconducting neonatal MRI system and ultra-high-field biomedical MRI system at this year's conference.
The development of low-field and ultra-low-field MRI for intraoperative and bedside diagnostics has become a hot topic in the industry in recent years. This year's conference featured a special Plenary Session dedicated to low-field MRI systems and technologies, that sparked extensive attention and discussion among academia and industry experts, implying low-field MRI systems (field strengths below 0.5T) have gradually gained recognition in the medical imaging industry, largely due to their low energy consumption and cost-effectiveness.
During the exhibition, the international marketing team of Time Medical hosted radiology experts from over 80 hospitals from countries such as the United States, South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Sweden, Canada, Australia, Germany, India, the United Kingdom, Brazil, Ghana and also interacted with several distributors in the region. Time Medical neonatal MRI system attracted the attention of experts from several children hospitals including Toronto Children Hospital, Children's National Hospital (USA), Monash Children Hospital, and Queen Mary Hospital of the University of Hong Kong.
Time Medical's team also received MRI experts from prestigious institutions such as Harvard Medical School, Stanford Medical School, Mayo Clinic, and Cornell Medical College to explore collaborations in clinical research in ultra-high field MRI, non-proton imaging, as well as low field MRI.
At the conference, Time Medical's executive team met with Mr. Andreas Schneck, the CEO of Siemens Healthineers' MRI division and his team, and had in-depth discussions regarding the collaborative development of next-generation ultra-high-field MRI technology and ultra-low-field MRI systems.
The executive team also had a meeting with Ms. Kelly Londy, the newly appointed CEO of GE Healthcare MRI division and her team. Kelly has extensive experience in the MRI industry, having worked in the MRI division of GE Healthcare for many years and served as CEO in several medical device companies. After an introduction to Time Medical, Kelly expressed keen interest and inquired about the company's structure, business positioning, and technological roadmap. Both parties engaged in discussions regarding the potential market and strategic collaborations for low-field products and neonatal products in the future.
