Q: What’s the recommended spray?
A: 7.5% hydrogen peroxide is the recommended disinfectant for enclosed hospital environment. However, in open area, it’s recommended to use non-toxic, non-alcoholic, non-skin and non-eye irritating, safe disinfectants, like plant extract based lab-certified disinfectants, e.g. AQ, BioEm, NatShield, PathAway (in alphabetical order). Some other customers also use hypochlorous acids. Our spray head can also spray other disinfectants like NaOCl, chelated platinum solution effectively. Please kindly noted that photocatalyst like sliver oxide or titanium dioxide, and other non-sprayable is not recommended to spray with our robot as they may cause potential serious side effects upon inhalation, also skin and eye irritation
Note: ISR do not limit the type of disinfectants being spray. Kindly let us know if you have other specific needs and assisted by our specialists and scientists
Q: What’s the disinfection time for 300 sq meters open space area?
A: As a general rule, each disinfection point is around 3.5-4.0m apart. The reason behind this is that the effective disinfection radius of 2.5m with an accumulated dose with 12,000μWs/cm^2 at 2mins direct irradiance. A single point disinfection area is around 12.5 sq m. An area of 300 sqm will take 24 spots of 2 mins, which is equal to 48 mins. When travelling and motion time is considered, the disinfection time to disinfect 300 sq meters is around 60 mins
